Shred

A Poem by Kirby Elizabeth Williams (a variation on the original version written by Kirby in 2002)

Shiver
The Spontaneous rush you feel when you're at the top
The Sight
Last night's Storm brought a Sea of Sparkling flakes
A billion Stars Shining in the Sun light
Satisfaction
Slowly you Start to Slide and begin to gain Speed
Schuss, Schuss, Schuss
Sharp edges Slice the Slope
Shifting your weight from Side to Side
Silence
It's you, the Mountain, the Snow
The Sensation that you're flying
Shredding down the Steepest woods
Style
It's your own and no one else's
It's what Separates you from the crowd
Standards
Only you can Set for yourself
Strength
What you need to Succeed
Striving to do better
Shock
What you feel after you Stomp the Sickest jump
Still you Strain for more
Soaring down Stock run
Until you Stop
...and do it all over again.
Schuss, Schuss, Schuss
